Tour Guide
Enthusiastic, articulate individuals are needed to give
presentations on various exhibits. A willing-to-learn-spirit
is also required. Executive President and Co-Founder Dr.
Joanne Martin will train Tour Guides
Museum Attendant
Seeking friendly people oriented individuals to traverse
Museum, direct visitors to exhibits and gift shop, maintain
order (noise control) in Museum, report any damaged signs
to supervisor and control crowds. Training will be provided
Research Assistant
Assistant will conduct research in support of museum exhibitions,
publications, special projects, and web site. Will continue
documentation and research of permanent collections. Must
demonstrate a proven organizational, research, and communication
skills. A major in history, art, ethnic studies, or other
related field is desirable.
Office Assistant
Answer multi-line telephone, transfer calls, and take
detailed messages, copy documents, do light typing, transport
information from office-to-office, control entrance of
visitors with door monitor system. Take reservations and
mail packets. Training will be provided
Greeter
Go onto buses greet groups giving your name and welcoming
them to The National Great Blacks In Wax Museum. You may
also be asked to give brief announcements. Ask group leader
to come forward, get reservation form from leader and
escort the group leader only into the Museum to settle
payment. The group should remain on bus or outside until
further notice. Assign number to group.
